The scholarship supports Year 12 students who are seeking a tertiary pathway to become a qualified teacher, providing financial and study support, and a permanent, full-time teaching position in a school within the Wagga Wagga Diocese upon completion of their degree.

Thomas is a compassionate and driven future teacher who brings a strong sense of faith, purpose, and community spirit to his teaching journey. Raised in the Catholic tradition and inspired by his time at Xavier High School, Thomas is passionate about making a meaningful impact in Catholic education. With a deep commitment to supporting students and helping them reach their full potential, he aims to be a role model who leads with kindness, resilience, and faith.
We’re proud to support Thomas as he works toward becoming a teacher who will inspire and uplift future generations.

Thomas is currently studying a Bachelor of Education K-12 through CSU in Albury.

Yesterday, some Second Year Early Career Teachers gathered at Xavier Catholic College. Here, they undertook the next phase in the Faith Formation opportunities offered to staff in the first three years of their career with CEDWW.

The scholarship supports Year 12 students seeking a tertiary pathway to become a qualified teacher, providing financial and study support, as well as a permanent, full-time teaching position in a school within the Wagga Wagga Diocese upon completion of their degree.

Elisa brings a deep sense of compassion, leadership, and faith to her journey as a future Catholic educator. She is committed to creating classrooms where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow. With strong skills in active listening and patience, Elisa hopes to model the values she experienced throughout her own Catholic education. Her goal is to leave a lasting impact on her students’ lives, both academically and spiritually.
